DOCSIS 3.0
This option builds in a CableLabs® certified DOCSIS 3.0 modem, enabling a full complement of DOCSIS 3.0 tests.
Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi option builds in a Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) adapter, enabling a full complement of Wi-Fi network verification tests.
TraffiControl Feature
Enables troubleshooting ingress and impulse noise within an active upstream channel band.
QAM Source Mode
This is one means for verifying the upstream transmission capability of a particular segment of the network for higher order QAM signals, up to 64 QAM. Many cable systems have stepped from QPSK to 16 QAM and now are moving to 64 QAM for upstream data transmission.
8 VSB functionality
This optional feature allows the operator to connect an off air antenna to the 860 DSP input port and read level, MER, BER, and view constellation and equalizer tap information on 8 VSB channels.
High-Speed Throughput
This option allows the technician to test upstream/downstream data path throughput to the full range of the bonded channels. This is a valuable tool for verifying provisioning as well as bandwidth availability at customer homes or at key test points in the system.
Unsolicited Grant Service (UGS)
Provides periodic grants for an upstream service flow without the need for a cable modem to transmit bandwidth requests.
Advanced CSO / CTB in-channel functionality
Enables in-service testing when used with a 3rd party Line Blanker.
Line Viewer Utility
This is feature that can be used to verify the line blanking.

Displays Ingress spectrum from Headend, compares with local ingress, displays return Tilt and Gain (with option). Performs automated installation testing of Upstream Transmit Levels and C/I, from sub to Headend (with Option).
Internet Browser and Server Functions
Browses Internet information sites, up/downloads work orders, functions as a browsable server for remote operation (with Option)
VITS
With the VITS option, headend technicians can view Vertical Interval Test Signals (VITS), which are inserted during the vertical synchronization interval of analog video, and specify lines for testing. The option enables the technician to measure differential phase, differential gain, chroma delay.
Note: Technicians who do not maintain DOCSIS services and/or do not need a modem-equipped field analyzer may want to choose the 860 DSP analyzer.

When installed in an 860 DSP or 860 DSPi, the Frequency Domain Reflectometer Option (FDR) provides a simple, convenient and accurate tool for determining the distance to cable faults. The option works by sending a sweep into the cable and analyzing the complex reflected wave to determine the distance to various sources of reflection (opens, shorts, splitters, etc.). The reflecting events are indicated on a distance versus amplitude display, and markers are used to identify the distance to the source of the reflection, and the return loss at that point. REQUIRES POWER PACK & RETURN TRANSMITTER BOARD OPTIONS.
When installed in an 860 DSPi, this option extends the spectrum analyzer range to 1 GHz (300 kHz RBW only), adds CSO/CTB Test, Web Browser and Connectivity Test, HUM, C/N, Depth of Modulation, FM Deviation, Full Channel Scan (channel plan), and Sweepless Sweep Mode.
When installed in an 860 DSPi, this option adds Constellation and Equalizer Display to the 860 DSPi. Field installable. REQUIRES POWER PACK OPTION.
When installed in an 860 DSPi, this option extends the measurement and troubleshooting range of field technicians by offering a simple round-trip VoIP quality test from any RF test point. The option works through communication with the Tektronix DirectQuality active monitoring system, enabling tests to verify RTP communication from the test point to probes placed strategically throughout the cable network. This option works only with a fully implemented Tektronix DirectQuality System. REQUIRES FIRMWARE VERSION V8.1.11.1 or HIGHER and POWER PACK OPTION.
When installed in an 860 DSP, this option performs functions of the Trilithic Guardian 9580 SSR Reverse Test Field Unit. Compatible with the Guardian and Guardian II System. When installed in an 860 DSPi, this option harnesses the power of the 860 DSPi to provide all of the typical and high performance spectrum analyzer capabilities without the complexity, cost and weight of analog alternatives. REQUIRES POWER PACK OPTION.
When installed in and 860 DSP or 860 DSPi, this Option provides a way to troubleshoot upstream ingress and noise problems within active channel bands by seeing the ingress that is present "underneath" an upstream cable modem channel, or any bursty signal. REQUIRES POWER PACK OPTION FOR 860 DSPi.
When installed in an 860 DSPi, Upstream Linear Distortion analysis takes the EQ taps from the cable modem and displays their values. It also calculates and displays a response and delay graph. Currently this mode works on either a DOCSIS 2.0 or DOCSIS 3.0 8x4 modem. REQUIRES POWER PACK OPTION.

The WiFi adapter test modes include a survey that provides a list of access points within the range of the meter, along with field strength, status of security and SSID, channel and type, and MAC address. Repairs
All repairs carry a 90-day warranty against defects in replacement parts and repair workmanship.
Products
All Trilithic products are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a minimum of one year after shipment.
Trilithic's obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product after being returned to our factory, and Trilithic determining the product be indeed defective.
This is Trilithic's sole warranty and is given in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and sets forth the buyers sole remedy.
