The TFS-FS1K505™ Optical Leakage Detector Kit is designed to locate energy leaks in fiberoptic systems due to splice loss, connector loss, breakage, or bending and to identify fibers over long distances. The complete kit includes: TFS-201 Optical Light Source, TFS-FS1 Optical Leakage Detector, Wide Band IR Filter (1280-1620 nm), TFS-TSA Aerial Lens & Scope Kit, Rugged Waterproof Carrying Case, AC to DC Power Adapter/Charger, Four (4) AA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries, One (1) 9 VDC Alkaline Battery, and Operation Manual on CD.

This is a factory upgrade that includes a replacement of an existing Ethernet Communications Interface (CI-1, CI-2, CI-3, or CI-4) in the 860 DSP or 860 DSPi with Ethernet Communications Interface (CI-5) and a WiFi (802.11 b/g) adapter. The WiFi adapter test modes include a survey that provides a list of access points within the range of the meter, along with field strength, status of security and SSID, channel and type, and MAC address. Additionally, the adapter can be used to connect to any authorized access point for communication of measurement data, meter configuration, or access to Internet web sites for work order close-out or other productivity improving functions. The complete factory upgrade package includes: all necessary hardware, software, and calibration (if needed) performed at Trilithic.
